Refund/Return Policy - Lowcountry Reptiles - Effective Date 12/3/2022

1. Refund Eligibility - We at Lowcountry Reptiles are committed to providing you with the best products and services. We understand that there may be situations where you need to request a refund. This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds MAY be granted. 

2. Eligible Products and Services Refunds will be considered for the following: a.) Physical Products - Anything that is not a live animal - You may request a refund for any product under this category within 24 hours of receiving the product if it is damaged, defective, or not as described. b.) Live Animals - You may request a refund for any product under this category within 24 hours of receiving the product if it is damaged, defective, or not as described. Please see our Animal Guarantees under Terms of Service. c.) Services - Refunds for services may be considered on a case-by-case basis, and eligibility will depend on the specific terms outlined in the service agreement. 

3. Non-Eligible Items - Refunds will not be provided for the following: a.) Products, services, or live animals used or reported beyond the designated return period. b.) Products or services damaged due to misuse, negligence, or accidents. 

4. How to Request a Refund - To request a refund, please follow these steps: a.) Contact our customer support at lowcountryreptiles@yahoo.com. b.) Provide your order number, a detailed explanation of the issue, and any relevant supporting documents. When submitting a refund request, pictures must be attached of the issue, or no refund will be considered. This applies to ALL products sold on Lowcountry Reptiles' website. c.) We will assess your request and provide instructions for the refund process. 

5. Refund Processing - Once your refund request is approved, the following will apply: a.) Refunds for physical products will be processed within 7-10 business days of receiving the returned item. b.) Refunds for live animals will be processed within 3-5 business days. c.) For service refunds, processing times will vary based on the specific terms agreed upon in the service contract. 

6. Restocking Fee - For certain physical products, a restocking fee may apply. The fee, if applicable, will be communicated to you during the refund process.
